Erik's Legacy
Erik Modisett (1975–2026) was a U.S. Navy veteran, a nearly 30-year federal law enforcement professional with the Federal Air Marshal Service and CBP Air and Marine Operations, and the founder of CAMDEx, CBP’s drone exploitation and forensics lab.
A licensed pilot, incoming Purdue professor, and above all a devoted husband to Sarah and father to Olivia, Erik loved a good cigar, a shared bourbon, and bringing people together – which is what this day is about.
